Lease services is about leveraging our time for our collective benefit. We maintain at minimum two scouts all year. Through these gentlemen, we provide:

- Blind installation and lease preparation for the season

- Weekly scouting/logistics (during the season)

- Hunter assistance on a pre-arranged basis (as opposed to guiding)—finding the properties, finding the
ponds, help setting the spread, bird cleaning, etc. We request a tip commensurate with the effort

expended; and Lots more.
Currently we have provided a Friday scouting run through all the properties and a report on The Coop for each lease of the results. At times there will be other reports from farmers, other hunters, game wardens, landowners, etc. We pass those along on the blogs as well. We are working on regular scouting during the Tuesday / Wednesday time frame and over the weekends. No promises at this point but that is the direction we are headed. Scouting is key to the success of our collective efforts.
We ask that as you come across our scouts during the season, if they do something to assist your hunt, slide 'em a five or a ten spot. These guys spend a lot of hot days in the summer and a lot of time during the season on the roads and at the properties making sure everything goes smooth. A little tip here or there goes a long way to keeping them working hard for us.
Know of someone who might be a good fit for our lease services, send them our way. Click HERE for an application. Fill it out the completed application and email to Jay Daigre at Jay@YardBirdHunting.com.
- We pay our scouts during the off-season and in preparation for the regular bird seasons $8/hour plus gas money.
- During the season we cover their gas money, rely on tips and birds over the gun barrel to keep their toes tapping.
- In addition we pay a stipend each semester based on the number of round trips made to cover vehicle depreciation.
Let us know if you have a good fit for the program.
