January 9th, 2006- Recent News: Turning the corner into the home-stretch of duck season, things are drying out on the prairie. That should be an advantage for the "haves" with water. Our water is skinnying back up as well but most ponds are at least half full--enough to hold birds if we can get a fresh shot of cold air and some new birds. It may not be in the next week but at some point things should turn back on in the heart of the prairie.

Also, I have put some thoughts down on the various loads I have shot this season. Its not all about the fancy "designer" loads as you will see in that post.
